Maguyuk-
A long, stringy wolf. He is known for his wise advice and his quick-thinking. Maguyuk is slightly more relaxed than the other Alphas, and is a little more leniant about who he lets join. His wit allows him to win fights quickly and with the smallest amount of damage possible. A very good hunter, known for his speed. He has been known to play with pups and he loves to howl. Brook-
Slightly smaller than other wolves, with long limbs and high endurance. Brook is quick-witted and intelligent. A good leader and a good hunter. Because of her size, she relies on her intelligence and speed to win battles. She is a good hunter, leader, mother, and she is very loyal. Will be RPed by Canislupis Beta(s):
Hunters: Het- Het was dropped on his head when he was a pup, and he is clueless and annoying. Not very bright, and really, he's a pup at heart. He just wants to play and takes nothing seriously. The rest of the pack thinks natural selection should've picked him off ages ago, but Het either doesn't know or doesn't care. The pups like him, though. In their eyes, he's an adult wolf they can truly relate to. An albino wolf with a stiff back leg that slows him down. Usually found at the back of the pack. A wolf that could lead the other, wiser wolves into risky situations. RPed by ~Volant~ Demidra-
Dutiful. She likes hard work and always likes to have a goal. Demidra is pretty content with just about anything assigned to her. Usually very aggressive and hot headed. Demidra has a problem with her temper but tries to keep it under control. Respected by most pack members for her unyielding wisdom. Demidra is an excellent runner. Being a red wolf gives her an advantage. Her species was built for speed and agility. Demidra has worked on her endurance since she was a pup. Ocean was named after her ocean-blue eyes that sometimes seem far away. Quick, with overwhelming energy, she never seems to slow down. Deer- When hunting deer, the alpha male and female lead the beta(s) and hunters in a chase. The pack stalks as close to the unsuspecting herd as possible and then tries to pick one off. They generally go for the weakest deer they can find. However, they are usually spotted and have to chase the deer. Attack position is generally a triangular shape, with Alphas at the top, Beta(s) flanking them, and Hunters fanned out. For a deer, the omega would more likely be left to watch the pups than help hunt. The Hunters and Beta(s) nip at the deer's legs, haunches, chest, and neck. When the deer is considerably weakened and stumbling, the alpha would go for the jugular(a vulnerable vein in the neck) and bring the deer down.


Elk- The above method for the deer can be applied to the elk, although the entire pack may be needed to bring the elk down. It takes longer and there are fewer successes. Elk may also try to fight the wolves off when cornered, and there have been many fatalities
from kicks to the head.

Rabbits- When hunting a rabbit, a wolf typically stalks it. Once the rabbit is spotted, the wolf drops into a crouch position, bearing their weight in the haunches. They try to make as little noise as possible. Ideally, the wolf would be able to creep right up and pounce on its prey but unfortunately, the rabbit usually hears it before then. Rabbits tend to run in an erratic zig zag pattern and then disappear into a hole. To catch one, the wolf would have to chase it as cunningly and quickly as possible and then pounce.

Squirrels- When hunting a squirrel, a wolf might use the stalk, chase, and pounce technique above. Since squirrels tend to run in straight lines to the nearest tree, a wolf might rely on speed and accuracy. Once the squirrel is up in the tree, the wolf generally leaves it for easier prey.

Ground squirrels- A lot like rabbits, these fast little guys will disappear into holes any time they can. They run in straight lines like their forest relatives. The stalk, chase, and pounce technique works well. A wolf will usually stalk a ground squirrel when the squirrel is above ground, eating.

Birds- When hunting a bird, a wolf usually has to stalk as close as possible and then leap up into the air when they bird takes off. Try to stalk as softly as possible, they will feel you before they hear you. Birds are tricky, even if you manage to leap into the air at the right time, you still have to snap your jaws around them before they can get too far away. You should generally try to hunt birds only under desperate measures to avoid the frustration in trying to catch a bird. You should also expect very few successes.

Voles- Voles are another prey that hear you before they see you.Use the stalk, pounce technique. They do not usually put up much of a run, they are not all that fast. They disappear into holes in the ground if you're not careful.

Fish- This is a tricky trade to learn. A wolf has to sit by the edge of the stream, waiting patiently, until they are sure they have a good shot. Then they have to lean forward and attempt to catch them in their mouth. The slippery fish usually get away and even if you catch one they are hard to hold onto. The general result of a fishing trip is a wet wolf.

Tempers flare, blood boils, rules are thrown aside. It happens. When two different Packs are going to have a fight, come here. The actual fight can happen anywhere, but to keep track of the disputes between the Packs the threads must be posted here. This includes fights between Packs and Loners/Outcasts as well. It doesn't have to be the whole Pack fighting, it can be two opposing wolves. Whatever the case, bring your fangs.
Rules
No Invincible Wolves. No one's coming out of a battle unscathed, and no one is defeating all their opponents effortlessly. Basically, control your own wolf and let the other member decide how their wolf will react. If I see any of this, the member will be warned and there is a possibility I may make a new system to prevent it.
Use Realistic Fighting Moves Come on, your wolf's not going to 'stand on their hind legs and use a piece of bark as a weapon', nor are they going to 'fly through the air, narrowly escaping the snapping jaws of the enemy'. Impressive, quick-thinking moves are fine. Keep it real.
No Killing the Other Wolf
 If their wolf is going to die in this fight, they will be the ones to tell about it.

Clever and aggressive. A little slow to trust, but the few that she does trust have earned it well. She's very stealthy. Loyal as any soul could be, though, and would refuse to leave anyone behind. Lupe is a bit high-and-mighty about being the Alpha's son. His father is the only creature he respects, and he won't let anyone else boss him around. His play is a bit more vicious and rough than it needs to be. Lupe prides himself in his hunting skills, and enjoys practicing for long hours, if he can find the time. Sometimes the other pups will find themselves his prey. Lupe hardly ever laughs and is a bit mean-tempered, but he tends to mellow out when his father is near. Likes to consider himself a sort of alpha male of the pups and has an incredible sense of pride and honor, Which will never let him back out of a dare. He is deep black with a couple of random white spots. The white annoys him beyond comprehension, and he insists that he will grow out of it in time. Cikuq is Lupe's sister, and one of the only pups that dares to challenge him. She is headstrong and adventurous with a fiery temper. She has strange icy eyes that make her known for her cold glare. She is proud to be the Alpha's pup but doesn't necessarily like to listen to him. She is content to follow Lupe's 'reign' in the pup hierarchy but doesn't like to be told what to do. A beautiful symphony of sound rises with the swirling wind and is carried upward as if an offering to the moon. Each individual note is clear and strong, the mourning sadness of the song is evident. The ghostly howl echoes through the forest, ricocheting off snow burdened pine trees.

Deer-

Different varieties of deer can be found in all three Pack territories. It takes the entire pack to take down one of these, but it is a welcomed feast when they do.
Elk-

These are a lot harder to find, and a lot tougher to take down. They can be found in all the territories, but scarecely in the forest. They are not very common anywhere. Would definitely take an entire pack.
Rabbits-

These are found all over, especially in Tall Grass Territory. They can be taken down by a single wolf but can sometimes be tricky to catch because of their speed. Hardly ever found in Cold Wind Territory. This is the kind of prey wolves would bring back to the den.
Squirrels-

Found mostly in Pine Tree Territory and occasionally in Cold Wind Territory. Not in Tall Grass Territory. They don't offer much meat but are sufficient for a snack or in times of hardship. They are rather hard to catch because they tend to hide up in trees.
Ground squirrels-

A lot like their forest relatives but found in Tall Grass Territory.
Birds-

Found everywhere, in millions of different varieties. All provide little food and are hard to catch because they can fly. If caught, they would be brought to the den for pups to play with and possibly eat.
Voles-

These can be found mostly by the river banks. They provide a good enough meal to keep a grown wolf satisfied for a while and are relatively easy to catch. Would be brought back to the den.
Fish-

Several varieties of fish can be found in the river that runs through all the Packs. They are extremely hard to catch and not often sought after unless the wolf is a skilled fisher or very hungry. They make a good meal but usually require getting wet. Sometimes they will be hunted for fun, just to mess around in the water.

Overall-

This is what most of the territory looks like. It is very hot and barren, the only water source is a small spring. Prey is scarce and fiercely fought over. Occasionally a loner will be able to join a Pack, but the Outcasts live and likely die out here.
Small Spring-

This is the only water source. Vicious fights over the water here occur often, so the sand is stained with blood. The plants here are some of the few in the desolate land. The water bubbles up from underground, so the source is fairly dependable.

Red Marsh-

Few wolves dare venture here. It is on the edge of Tall Grass Pack's Territory, facing away from Pine Tree Pack and Cold Wind Pack. There are many stories about this 'living land' but it the water is posioned and the prey doesn't run there. Pups are forbidden to enter, as every wolf who did was swallowed up, or so the stories go.
Howl Rock-

This is where Maguyuk addresses his pack. He stands on top and his Pack sits on the ground around him. The Pack howl is held here often as Maguyuk is known for his love to howl.
Overall-

This is what the majority of Tall Grass Pack's Territory looks like. It is flat and full of tall, thick grass so the wolves here compensate with speed and intelligence. Some wolves have to groom theirselves daily to get rid of the burrs they acquire there. Hunting patrols pass through this type of territory often.
River-

This is Tall Grass Pack's view of the river that runs through the territory of all three Packs. Wolves come here to swim and fish. It is considered a fun place and a romantic getaway. Their part of the river is shallow, so they are seen here cooling off more often.

Blood Rocks-

Few wolves dare venture here. It is on the edge of Cold Wind Pack' Territory, facing away from Pinetree Pack and Tall Grass Pack. There are many stories about these unnatural rocks but it is unnusually still and the prey is non-existent. Pups are forbidden to enter as every wolf who did died a bloody death, or so the stories go.
Rockshine-

This unusual rock formation is where Ataneq addresses his pack. He leads his pack to the top then sits on the highest rock while they take their seats below him. This is where the Pack Howl is held.
Overall-

This is what the majority of Cold Wind Pack's Territory looks like. It is rocky and often very cold, with patches of random grass here and there, so the wolves here compensate with thick coats. Hunting patrols pass through this type of territory often.
River-

This is Cold Wind Pack's view of the river that runs through the territory of all three Packs. It runs down to the forest, where it bends into Pine Tree Pack Territory. Cold Wind wolves occassionally journey down there when the weather is hot. The waterfalls are considered a place for careful fun and a romantic getaway.

Death Trees-

Few wolves dare venture here. It is on the edge of Pine Tree Pack's Territory, facing away from Cold Wind Pack and Tall Grass Pack. There are many stories about these 'haunted woods' but hardly any prey lives there and pups are forbidden to enter. Every wolf that has entered has died, or so the stories go.
Moss Rock-

This is where Akiak addresses his pack. It is near the den. He stands on the rock so that he is higher than the Pack and they sit on the ground around it. It is a popular place for pups to climb on. This is where the Pack Howl is held.
Overall-

This is what the majority of Pine Tree Pack's Territory looks like, the trees are skinny and do not provide much good cover so Pine Tree Pack wolves compensate by being extra quiet and shadowy. Here is where most of the prey is. Hunting patrols pass through territory like this often.
River-

This is Pine Tree Pack's view of the river that runs through the territory of all three Packs. Here all of the packs occasionally swim or fish. It is considered a place for fun and sometimes a romantic getaway. When the weather gets hot, you can find several wolves here.

    • Beta- Second in command, helps carry out Alpha Male's orders. Has authority over all wolves except Alphas. Can be mated and be a Beta pair.
    • Hunters- The rest of the Pack. These wolves hunt and obey the Alpha. They must follow all commands without questions. Can mate with each other.
    • Pups- Wolves love pups. Pups spend their days playing with each other and their mother or any other member of the pack.
    • Omega- Butt of the Pack. They are subject to taking orders even from the pups. They are usually ill-tempered or timid. Mostly timid.
